-Ett hårt manuellt arbete pågår just nu för att snygga till trädgården ovanför muren i trädgården på plan 5. Vi har kört över 13 ton ny jord på skottkärra och planerat ut för hand. Men före det har vi med spade och hacka tagit bort och jämnat ut marken ovanför muren. En ny stenmur ca 70 cm hög har byggts längre in på sluttningen och från den muren fram till den befintliga muren är det nu en plan yta. Ovanför den nya muren är jord påfylld för att få till en plan yta där växter och träd ska planteras. Tanken är att våra gäster ska kunna sitta här uppe när gräs och växter har etablerat sig ordentligt. Jag kommer att lägga ut mer bilder när projektet är klart. Min far (Nikos) är givetvis med och arbetar och trots att han är 80+ är han still going strong.

-Hard manual work is currently underway to tidy up the garden above the wall in the garden on the 5th floor. We have driven over 13 tonnes of new soil on a wheelbarrow and planned it out by hand. But before that, we have removed and leveled the ground above the wall with a shovel and a hoe. A new stone wall about 70 cm high has been built further in on the slope and from that wall to the existing wall it is now a flat surface. Above the new wall, soil is filled in to create a flat surface where plants and trees will be planted. The idea is that our guests should be able to sit up here when grass and plants have established themselves properly. I will post more pictures when the project is finished. My father (Nikos) is of course involved and works and even though he is 80+, he is still going strong.
