-Hela trädgården har nu fått ett helautomatiskt bevattningssystem som täcker alla ytor på hotellets tomtområde. Det betyder att hela trädgården, trapporna upp till trädgården, trapporna upp till receptionen, parkeringen och samtliga krukor vattnas helt automatiskt. Allt styrs och programmeras genom en app i mobilen eller i datorn så att tider, intervaller o.s.v ställs in individuellt för olika områden så att alltid rätt mängd vatten matas ut. Allt styrs via en central enhet som i sin tur styr en mängd vattenventiler. Hela systemet är konstruerat av min bror Andreas som också gjort mjukvaran till dator och mobiltelefon. Alla vattenslangar som är störande kommer att döljas med smarta maskeringar.
Nästa stora projekt som är i planeringsfasen just nu är att montera solceller för försörjning av elsystemet på hotellet. I Grekland får man tillgodoräkna sig all energi som produceras och matas tillbaka till elnätet. Den energin får man sedan spara upp till 4 år och använda vid behov utan kostnad. Det betyder att vi kan producera el hela vinterhalvåret när hotellet är stängt och använda det under turistsäsongen. Det är ett stort projekt som kan ta lite tid där jag först måste ansöka om tillstånd hos staten.

-The entire garden now has a fully automatic irrigation system that covers all surfaces of the hotel grounds. This means that the entire garden, the stairs up to the garden, the stairs up to the reception, the parking lot and all the pots are watered completely automatically. Everything is controlled and programmed through an app on the mobile phone or on the computer so that times, intervals etc. are set individually for different areas so that the right amount of water is always output. Everything is controlled via a central unit which in turn controls a number of water valves. The entire system is designed by my brother Andreas, who also made the software for the computer and mobile phone. Any water hoses that are disturbing will be hidden with smart masks.
The next big project that is in the planning phase right now is to install solar cells to supply the electricity system at the hotel. In Greece, you can credit all energy that is produced and fed back into the grid. You can then save that energy for up to 4 years and use it as needed free of charge. This means that we can produce electricity throughout the winter months when the hotel is closed and use it during the tourist season. It is a big project that may take some time as I first have to apply for permission from the state.
